as  if  his  desire  to  be  anywhere  else  wasn’t  already  blatantly  obvious  by  his  expression  than  his  demeanor  would  easily  sell  him  out  ,  as  up  -  tight  and  dismissive  as  physically  possible  .  just  because  it  might’ve  looked  like  paradise  didn’t  mean  that  it  actually  was  ,  he  thinks  ,  another  ploy  by  his  management  in  an  attempt  to  delay  the  inevitable  .  hands  are  busy  gripping  the  handles  of  the  male’s  luggage  while  he  trudges  through  the  area  ,  immediately  growing  in  annoyance  with  every  passing  second  .  chocolate  tinted  hues  instantly  take  sight  of  a  passing  figure  ,  a  beacon  of  hope  ,  regardless  of  occupation  .  “  ay  ,  you  work  here  ?  can  you  w  h  e  e  l  these  to  my  room  ?  it’s  right  at  the  end  to  the  left  .  ”

              clifford  was  no  stranger  to  the  riviera  villas  ,  summer  after  summer  both  him  and  his  family  would  come  to  have  a  well  deserved  break  from  work  .  this  time  however  ,  his  folks  were  very  busy  with  his  half-brother's  wedding  ,  so  much  that  their  annual  trip  was  cancelled  ,  or  was  it  ?    he  needed  an  escape  ,  from  his  parents  ,  his  brother  and  most  importantly  his  brother's  fiancée  ,  which  is  why  this  year  he  was  all  on  his  own  ,  away  from  everyone  he  knew  ,  or  so  he  though  ,  it  seemed  like  many  familiar  faces  were  roaming  around  the  villas  and  one  in  particular  just  sat  next  to  him  at  the  oceana's  pool  bar  where  he  was  already  having  his  first  drink  of  the  day  .  "  care  for  a  drink  ?  my  treat  "
