yeah I’ve played it, but I didn’t really like it.. mainly because dobson turned out to be so.. bland and underdeveloped (and a bit laggy). ofc that’s just my personal opinion but I’d rather continue to develop my own canon for dobson pieced together from the scattered bits of information about him and my own speculations/headcanons, rather than play a mod that won’t quite live up to my own expectations. (or make my own mod to add dobson to the game but that would be far more difficult)
no offence to the mod’s original creator, it’s just my opinion!😓 but I have a great deal of respect for them for the idea of bringing to life the concepts that Eric had cut from the game during the final stages of development, that's really cool

bc he's cool. I like his design, his charisma - all in all, I really like his character, with all his pros and cons. I love him even though he's still a bitch. anyway, it's just par for the course for me to get hyperfixated on red-haired freaks who are hated or mocked by the entire fandom. I think It's my curse ....... ( ཀ ʖ̯ ཀ).
ofc floch wasn't the only one I liked from the entire cast. I really love Bertholdh, he really touched my heart, but unfortunately, I don't have much art featuring him yet...
Octavian looks like a killer whale. Is there a story behind this part of his design?
actually there’s a rather dull backstory behind his design — I wanted to create the polar opposite of my farmer oc for sdv. I spent ages thinking about what design to give my new character and eventually settled on the design of an old oc from a long-forgotten universe of mine. why did I choose that particular design? it looked crazy cool even after all this time. and it perfectly suited the image of the character I wanted to create

.. but when it comes to the narrative aspect of the design, and any underlying connection that might link Octavian to the image of a killer whale, there isn’t one. the only thing he has in common with the orca is his infinite love for these animals ig🦧
