Wildwood/Vital Link Trail [Hike 14]: so I was just going to go for a run today but I was inspired by @phaellaaaa post to do a hike for #nationaltrailsday Since it wasn't just any old day I decided to revisit the Wildwood/Vital Link Trails especially since I've been talking about them a lot lately. This was my go to hike for a while after I moved back to LA, but I would be lying if I said it wasn't a challenge. My legs were still sore from yesterday and being on my feet all day for work, but I never thought I wasn't going to make it to the top. Every time I took a break I reminded myself of all the times I wasn't sure I would make it to the top and had to sit down when taking breaks and I didn't let myself get discouraged. Fryman Canyon [Hike 11]: @sweet_xuxa and I took the little Bing Bong Nugget for his first hike today. If you can't tell he enjoyed it so much he slept for 90% of it. Betty B. Dearing Mountain Trail [Hike 7]: we were trying to do Fryman since I had never been and Shir-el hadn't been in years. Needless to say we ended up on the neighboring trail.
