Vicki is SO understandable in this panel like i CANNOT--

Not only does Bruce mention another woman in a way that speaks of romantic feelings, perhaps more so than he feels for Vicki, he says that a woman making demands in a relationship is HARD for him, he can't commit to that.

And then he proceeds to say that his and Vicki's relationship is simple/uncomplicated and that he likes that she doesn't DEMAND anything. Like whatever love or affection they feel for each other is surface level.

In Batman: Caped Crusader's episode Sudden Fear, we get a brief cameo from long-time Batman supporting character Vicki Vale. A photojournalist she's been a fixture in the comics since the 1940s (similar to Julie Madison, who appeared last season), and has appeared in several types of media over the years including the 1989 Batman movie and more recently in My Adventures With Superman as Lois Lanes' in-universe inspiration/rival.

Bruce was cheated...he's trying to be stoic about it
