I had an ask earlier today about the Space Witch and Familiar AU (I really need a better name for that AU, either as a title or the type of AU) and while it wasn't exactly what they asked for, I did get sparked to draw for the AU. So, we have Katie and Daniel just getting a good night's rest. Nothing strange here, just a teen and her cat. Not secretly a witch and a cursed cadet. ALSO! A version without the glow.

Lance: Bir- it’s my birthday?

Vince: Pidge said it was.

Lance: Hold on, let me check my calendar.

Larmina: Do you always forget your own birthday?

Lance: I haven’t celebrated it since I was a kid, so why would I?

Daniel: …you haven’t celebrated your birthday in that long?!

Lance: Once you’re an adult, it stops meaning anything. Not really.

Daniel: TEAM! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!

Keith: What?!

Daniel: LANCE HASN’T CELEBRATED HIS BIRTHDAY IN YEARS, WE HAVE TO THROW HIM A PARTY!

Keith: They gave caffeine pills to Pidge.

Lance: …it’s a nice party, but I have to go check on my gremlin.

Hunk: Don’t bother, he’s in the vents.

Daniel: Hey! This is a birthday party! No vents!

Lance: …Keith, do you think now is a good time to tell him my birthday isn’t for another year?

Keith: That’s… not how birthdays work.

Lance: It is when my birthday was yesterday.

Keith: I MISSED YOUR BIRTHDAY?!

Lance: So did I, in all fairness.
