• 8 june 2018 • having one of those really bad and stressful days, so i decided to treat myself with my favourite yoghurt and b99 😪 internship is ending in 2 weeks and interning at glasgow has been such a great experience. the 2nd pic was our fieldwork yesterday with the birds in the forest 🐥🌲 it was one of the best things i got to experience here i will definitely miss this lovely city when i’m back in the hot & humid singapore 😩

•7 february 2018• hellu !! i have not been updating much throughout my 2nd year of school, but that’s only because it’s been an insane & busy year for me 😩 the good news is, i’ll be ending year 2 in less than a week, and i’m currently on my 1st day of finals! i took some pretty interesting modules this semester, such as aquaculture, immunology and animal disease & pathology i didn’t do very well in my previous semester so i’m working xtra hard this semester to try & improve :) it’s been real tough, but i’m glad i’ve gotten through most of the presentations & tests so far in other news, i was accepted to do my internship all the way in scotland next semester 😱 i’ll be doing a research project with some of the university professors there on the effects of malaria on wild birds, and although i’m pretty scared, i’m really excited for this new opportunity!! also, look at the beautiful monthly desktop wallpaper made by @emmastudies !! i really love it and i’m so grateful for all the hardwork you put into the materials you create for the studyblr community ❤️ for now, i’m gonna focus on doing well for my finals & completing my 2nd year. hope all of you are doing great!! 😸

• 14th august 2017 • i can't believe the last time i updated this studyblr was last semester... so much has happened and my first semester in year 2 has been so difficult, but i've definitely learnt alot just to update, i'm nearing the end of my first semester in year 2 and my finals is this week. this sem i've taken modules such as animal diseases, clinical biochem, bioinformatics, animal developmental genetics and clinical diagnostics. the modules in this sem are definitely alot more vet focused as compared to the previous semesters this sem was extremely difficult, because every module was content heavy. there were so many practical reports to submit, so many pathogenesis & treatment methods to understand and remember for each disease, and at some point it was really difficult to study consistently because it was all too tiring 😢 but this sem, i got to interact with my first practical 'client', and i managed to do some clinical tests such as skin scraping, and i drew blood from a dog for the first time. pretty scary experience i'd say, because it was so difficult to find his vein but it was a good learning experience i guess despite how tough this sem has been, the many interactions with the animals & the content i'm learning really pushed me to become a better student and hopefully - a better vet in the future ☺ i hope all of you are doing okay!! 💕

i’ve completed my microbio notes & i’m (hopefully) ready for the paper this thursday!!! 💪🏻

12 feb 2017 ; sunday this week was probably the most productive week i've had this year!!! completed almost all my notes for all the modules, and i'm officially DONE WITH YEAR 1 ✨ finals is in 4 days time so the next 2 weeks are study weeks, which means even more time to be productive ☺ i hope i can keep this up for next 2 weeks and get through finals 💪🏻 also, i went to the most beauuttiiffulll starbucks ever - it's the 100th starbucks outlet here in singapore, and the view is really beautiful 😊 when my semester break comes i'll be sure to come back to read a book here!! i hope all of you are having a great february so far, and all the best to those who are having tests/exams !! ❤

3rd february 2017 ; friday around 20 days ago i told myself i'd start on the 50 days of productivity and 2 days in, things got bad at home & in school, and i was nothing close to being productive at all initially i was disappointed that i could barely commit to a week of being productive, but now i've come to realize that it's a part of parcel of life and i'm on my way to getting back on track 💪🏻 so some updates : I FINALLY WENT TO TOKYU HANDS 🙌🏻 probably the CUTEST (and also pricey) shop ever, and i bought washi tapes & the new zig brush pens i've always wanted!!! it's been hell month for us vet students because it's the period of time where we have all our practical exams, report submissions, and preparation for finals!! (which is in 2 weeks time) hope all of you had a great start to 2017! x

8th jan 2017, sunday my first post of the year and i have to say, this year hasn't gone well and it's only been 8 days, but i'm keeping my head up bc there are so many days to improve and make things better!!! did some notes on vet microbio a few days back and i really love the starbucks atmosphere - not too loud and not too quiet!! school officially starts tomorrow and i haven't gotten my shit together so today i'll be starting on planning my year ahead and really organizing on what needs to be done! here's to 2017 ❤️
