As an Aspie, sometimes I don't even realize my triggers; my brain will just shut down and sometimes meltdown without me knowing why. I have learned the feeling of overstimulation that happens before a meltdown. Such an episode happened at work once, but from it, I gained an amazing and compassionate mentor, whom I love dearly.
Writing is a way for me to work through emotions and develop an understanding of socialization.

I grabbed this kitten last night because he was dying
He was literally in rigor mortis when my boyfriend picked him up. He’s been living outside my boyfriends parents shitty disgusting home, sleeping in a dumpster. They would not let us let the kitten in when we lived there. Well now we have decided to move out, and even though I do not have the money for the vet, I couldn’t let this baby die in the cold.
He’s already doing better, he’s been purring, but my question is, is there anything I can do for him? His eyes keep getting snotty and hardening shut so I’ve been rubbing a soft wet warm washcloth over them, and that seems to help. I’ve been trying to get the rest of the fluid out of his eyes with q-tips. I’ve been pulling the snot off of his nostrils but he hates that. Is there anything else I can do or anything over the counter I can use?
