Seriously, what a god damn problem piece this turned out to be! =âD I usually never redo things in my art because to me getting things done is more important than aiming for perfection, but with this one I wanted to make an exception. And hoo boy did this bastard take advantage of that! Everything you can imagine going wrong went wrong, sometimes multiple times, and finishing this took about three times as much time as I wouldâve wanted.
But, in the end, I like how it looks, so I guess thatâs all that matters now. Itâs not PERFECT perfect, but as close to it as I have patience to go.
Itâs for the Vetehi prompt âcolorsâ and Iâll post it to Toyhou.se and dA and such tomorrow. Now Iâm too tired to do anything else than just slapping this here in order to work that âpost and see the mistakesâ magic once again.

Now that the trip to the coast finally seems to be truly happening, Näkki must unfortunately bid farewell to their seal buddies. Goodbyes are never easy, but Näkki reassures them that the Vetehi will come back to say hi to them... Someday. Sadly the seals don't really understand spoken language, but they do sense that something sad is going on.
It's been ages since the last CSP piece! I was unsure of how I'd want to finish this thing, so after sketching it in Gimp I decided to switch program in the middle of things. I'm also almost as sad as Näkkin in this, because the way their story is progressing seems to mean that I don't get to draw seals again in the immediate future. =< But fortunately there should be an infinite amount of other cool things to encounter!
Because of what I am planning to draw for the current Vetehi prompt, timeline-wise things required a small follow-up to the last prompt before that. So what was Sevensâs plan with the cart? To tie it to the Robbit, make Dama sit in the cart and have Dama levitate Näkki with psychocinetic powers. The ride is going to be bumpy thanks to the rabbit-like gait of Sevens, but technically this should work and the gang could finally start traveling towards the sea!
(Donât worry, as a robot Sevens doesnât breath, so having the rope around its neck isnât a problem. I wouldâve avoided it anyway if I could, but there just isnât really another place the rope couldâve been attached to. =âD)
My schedule got a little bit messed up at some point so Iâm not 100 % sure I can finish the actual Vetehi prompt before the month ends, but Iâll do my best.
