A few hours had passed since Itachi and Kisame had finished up a mission in the land of waves to take down a few assassins that were targeting a wealthy family, during the battle the Uchiha had managed to get a deep wound on his right arm and once the mission was complete they made their way back to the Akatsuki hideout so the two could report to Pein and tell him that the mission was a success and so Itachi could get the wound on his arm patched up by Sasori's subordinate Kabuto before the Akatsuki leader sent them out on their new mission.

Once Itachi finished giving Pein his report on Kisame's and his mission, he left to find the silver-haired medic, and about after what seemed like only minutes to the Uchiha, he heard Kabuto tell him that his arm was all patched up. Slowly sitting up on the bed he was laying on, Itachi moved his arm a little to make sure it was completely healed before meeting back up with Kisame so he could inform him that Pein had assigned them another mission that would take them to the outskirts of the hidden grass village. But before leaving the Uchiha turned back to look at Kabuto to tell him he appreciated him healing his arm without saying any words to him.

Itachi just finished giving Pein details about how his and Kisame’s mission went and was about to go find his partner but as he walked through the Akatsuki hideout, he spotted Sasori’s spy coming at his direction and was about to just walk past him without making any attempt to make conversation with the other, but when his ears picked up on Kabuto asking him on if he would like to know how Sasuke’s training was going with the legendary Sannin, whenever Sasori summoned him to the hideout, he stopped walking and turned towards the medic-nin as to tell him yes that he was interested to know how his younger brother’s training was going with Orochimaru.

“And…what is it that you believe that I have done or was involved in?”

Itachi’s eyebrows lowered then turned towards the doorway when his ears picked up on quickened footsteps coming down the hallway and passed his room.“Tobi…” he said quietly to himself and went back to what he was doing when the masked Akatsuki member passed. Just as the Uchiha was about to go back on getting ready to leave on another mission with Kisame, he got the feeling as if a pair of eyes were staring at him from where he sat.“Is…there something you want Tobi?” Itachi asked without turning to look at the newest member of the organization.

Sometime had passed since Itachi and Kisame had been sent out on a assassination mission and while the two were fighting the man they were hired to kill, the Uchiha’s eyes had blurred for a moment and the next thing he felt was a sharp pain coming from his arm and blood staining the sleeve of his cloak, but before the man could do any more damage, Itachi used his good arm and sliced the man’s throat once he was close enough.

When the two arrived back at the hideout to give Pein the news that they taken down the troublesome man, his ears picked up on Kisame telling him that he should look after his arm before they set out again.“Alright…” was all Itachi responded with and was on his way to fix his arm up, but halfway down the hallway of the hideout he spotted Sasori getting intel on Orochimaru from one of his suboardaments, as he was just about to pass them his ears picked up on the rogue sand ninja telling the silver-haired boy to heal his arm before he returned to the snake sannin’s hideout.

As the two walked to a private room that was used for medical purposes, Itachi’s ears picked up on Kabuto saying that he looked really hurt, all the older Uchiha did as a reply was just close his eyes for a few seconds, to show the other that he wasn’t up for talking. Once the two arrived at the room, Itachi removed his cloak gently to make sure that fabric that was sticking onto his arm from the blood, wouldn’t tair off any more skin and cause more bleeding.

A concerned look wasn’t long appearing on Itachi’s face when he heard Konan tell him that she thinks someone has been watching her.“Is…that so?” he asked then began to go deep in thought on to think who within the organization could be keeping an eye on her, from what the Uchiha could see that she hasn’t seemed to be showing any kind of unusual behavior that would make someone watch her, as far as he knew.

“Have you done anything that would make someone within the organization become suspicious of you?” Itachi asked.

It was past midnight as Itachi sat in the forest with his back against a large tree trunk and his eyes closed, the Uchiha had fallen asleep after finishing up a mission with Kakazu, the two were sent by Pein to do an assasination that the hidden stone had hired the Akatsuki to do, and now that the mission was accomplished they were waiting to hear from their leader for further instructions, so the Uchiha thought that now would be the best chance to get some sleep even though he knew it wasn’t going to be much.
