[ a cloudy day, drips of a threatening downpour hitting the top of his head as he shoved his entire life, packed haphazardly into boxes into his car ] now he was standing with his hand on the door to the coffee shop he used to be a regular in. a few articles were thought up at the table near the window. countless cups of coffee, hot chocolate, asinine conversations and board games. an important pinky promise with a nine year old kid that he swore he wouldn’t break but inevitably couldn’t keep. her voice began buzzing in his head, 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐘 𝐒𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑 ! 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 ! he pushed on the door. 𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚑, 𝚢𝚘𝚞'𝚛𝚎 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝚜𝚊𝚖.
