How it feels when a former boss reaches out to ask you a work question
I think one of my favorite things about driving now is being able to be the person who gives people a ride, and repay the favor for all the times other people gave me a ride. It feels really good and I feel really lucky to be able to do this.

I really do not feel like cooking in this heat, but I have the worst craving for pizza *and* a coupon for a local pizza place. But ☝️ I dont want to make more work for other people in this weather. So I think I'm just going to have salad for dinner again
I was swimming in a lake yesterday and a great blue heron flew overhead and did its dinosaur call, that was pretty cool
ronnie's jackass best and last thoughts and opinions: grown men abusing their bodies for entertainment is still funny in 2026 ☠️🔥🚀💥🍆🛒 💩🩼
so my welcome to jackass was when I was 12, in 2013. My best friend at the time's parents let their kids do whatever, so she invited me over to see some of her older sister's movies, and we watched the first 3 jackasses back to back. I was hooked. So Forever was the first movie I was old enough to see in theatres, and I liked it okay, but it didnt really feel like a farewell to the series to me. So I was really pleased to hear about Best and Last. So! My thoughts and opinions in bullet form because i dont know how else to do it
• there wasnt as much new material as I thought there was going to be, and I wasnt really expecting very much new material with how short filming was, but this is not a complaint
• I thought we mightve seen more of Bam's footage from Forever, but what we did get to see was neat, I'm not sure how much footage he was in to begin with
• I am okay with the amount of reused footage there was. I think it was a good way to supplement that the new stunts are for the most part kinda tame by jackass standards. And because it was the *Best* and Last I think it made sense to have stuff like Golf Course Airhorn in there (#Bursitis), and also as someone who is almost exactly as old as the series itself it was really nice to be able to see these famous stunts on the big screen and made it easier to imagine what it mightve been like seeing it for the first time 20+ years ago.
• I think they were right to not originally release The Box Down Stairs because it was too replicable, I guarantee you that if my friends and I saw that at the age of 12/13 we absolutely would've immediately taped ourselves into boxes stuffed with pillows and flung ourselves down the stairs
• Steve-o said he wanted to be the mvp of this one, and tbh i dont think he was. Stuff just kinda entered or exited his ass this movie, which is i think the most of what you can expect from jackass at 55. But I think Ehren was mvp again, maybe with Dave or Jasper in second place.
• Johnny still doesn't seem all there after that last concussion in Forever. It makes me kinda sad. But he seems better than he was in interviews from 2022/2023.
• I know the intention in Forever was for the new cast to lead the way into a future for the series but the chemistry just wasn't there (with each other or audience) and thus that didnt take off the way the crew mightve hoped. I think part of the reason was because the new cast doesnt fall into archetypes as easily as the original cast, and they dont have like 3 years of doing a tv show together behind them. Additionally Zach, Jasper, and Poopies all have great potential with this I think but Zach and Poopies are very much followers not leaders and I think they're too starstruck by the original cast and determined to impress them and they would probably do better in a film with none of the original cast so they can just do the thing with more confidence. And that new cast really would need a Knoxville type to lead them, and idk where you find a guy like that. So. In general I do think its for the best if things end now
• In general I would say I was satisfied with the movie as a farewell to the series, i was going into it with no/low expectations (not in a bad way) and I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciate the ways in which things came full circle and there was a very "last day of high school" vibe about it. I've been working on healing my inner child lately and I wasnt expecting this to be something that would help with that, but i think it was.
• I'm not gonna spoil the finale, but i cried, dude
