Essek is a wizard (a squishy wizard, as Jester would put it), so canonically averse to physical exertion he floats and has "very nice, well kept feet"...
Essek is also has never been depicted (in campaign or animated show) receiving military or combat training)...
BUT he does know someone who has and is an active part of the Kryn army...
