will had begged mike to get one for months but mike had argued that it was too much work.

will goes to a shelter despite mike and sees a small black and white puppy with big eyes. it reminds him of his boyfriend.

will brings the puppy home and shows mike how adorable it is, hoping mike will let it stay.

mike reluctantly agrees, seeing the hopeful look on his boyfriend's face.

the puppy's name is venkman. mike ends up taking more care of him than will does.

will comes back to his dorm everyday to his puppy looking boyfriend and venkman (venkie) cuddling on mike's bed.

Knight's Ferry "House Demos" is a 4 song mini CD/cassette tape that features 2 San Francisco based musicians: Mike Ramos (Tony Jay, Cindy, April Magazine, and Flowertown - among others) and Clay Hunt. The 3rd musician, Richard Alex Olsen, used to be in the Bay Area but has since moved to Portland. When he was in the Bay Area he was in Venkman (and according to Discogs, he was also associated with Blues Lawyer).

What I like about these 4 songs is that they veer away from the slowcore normally associated with Ramos' work. There is a definite jangle, especially on the Clay Hunt songs. I can't help but think of early R.E.M.

I sculpted this crew for the 40th anniversary, then just so happened to be in New York City back in April. Couldn’t pass up the chance to shoot them in front of Hook & Ladder No. 8, the Ghostbusters HQ.
