Kevin Wendell Crumb [Headcanon’s]

→ Kevin is 27 years old, born on February 28th and thus a Pisces.

→ He met Dr. Fletcher when he was 17, just as he started working at the Philadelphia Zoo.

→ He wanted to start over and try to live a more stable life.

→ Kevin had major problems accepting his DID and his alters.

→ Dr. Fletcher helped him cope with his disorder and accept Barry as the Host of the System. Although, it took a long time and many sessions for the first positiveprogress.

→ At one point Dr. Fletcher noticed that Kevin decided to retreat and let his alters take charge in many situations. He realized that it was okay and allowed switches to happen without resistance.

→ The relationship to his family is broken and mostly non-existent; especially to his abusive mother, even though she has tried multiple times to contact him throughout the years claiming that she has changed and wanting to re-bond with her son.

→ Kevin himself has never been in a serious, longterm relationship due to his insecurities, his fear of rejection and overall anxiety. However, some of his alters get a lot of attention, and some even had the occasional one night stand and affairs with male, female and transgender partners.

→ He got his middle name from his paternal grandfather who had immigrated from Germany; both Orwell and Mr. Pritchard found out as they researched Kevin’s family history and heritage.

→ Kevin has always preferred the company of animals over people. During his childhood he was never allowed to own a pet, however he used to feed a stray cat who regularly came by his house. Unfortunately, his mother made sure to report it to the animal control service which then captured it.

→ He is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and used to play baseball as a child; he stopped after his father’s abandonmentdisappearance.

→ One of his favorite pastime is writing poetry, because it is one of the only ways for him to express his feelings and emotions.

→ There was a time in his teenagehood where he tried to drown his sadness and anger with alcohol and various drugs. It was a time where alters like Goddard first came into existence, functioning as a Persecutor.

→ Sometimes he tried to stay away from home and rather live on the streets, however Dennis always made sure that he got home safely, even though Kevin’s mother was waiting for him.

→ His favorite spot at the Zoo is Penguin Point, where he befriended one of the Humboldt penguins. Her name is Sushi.
