It is my perhaps unachievable dream to sway a significant amount of people into shipping this rarepair that does not even interact in canon solely because it’s incredible and amazing and everything to me. Finally ready to answer this one because my poll is done! Also going to be answering the proper ask here by @tvmothdolloverlords that I initially derailed.
“Does Val give Velvette ideas on what to do to Lute?” what, she’s independent fuck y— yeah, yeah he does. He gives a lot of input, actually, half of which Vel doesn’t listen to and the other half she takes with handfuls of salt, but he is there for guidance! His history with codependent I-can-fix-you relationships definitely gives him some Perspectives beyond the sex as well (god, imagine being a fallen angel two days in hell and homicidal and you’re being compared to Angel Dust, I’d nuke someone) but Vel is possessive, overconfident, and really doesn’t want her new angel bitch being turned into the next shiny commodity for all of Hell. She’ll keep her muse private, thank you very much.
And now, with the context I needed to be able to put this story into its canon place, I can officially say Vox is probably not going to play a huge role initially in the dynamics directly with Lute here, if only because he’s currently on Killing Everyone And Himself watch. Finding out that Velvette’s got an angel under her wing now (hah) is likely to make him absolutely flip the fuck out, get a thousand ideas of how to spin it, black out in rage, and promptly wake up in Valentino’s exasperated arms. Val and Vel definitely take turns keeping him and his regenerating body company, and I can see Lute creating issues here as soon as she becomes cognizant of the dynamic and how she can fuck it up, but that does require her becoming cognizant enough to fuck it up, and in the beginning I think she is a lot less scheming-minded.
Also, my Watsonian explanation here of Vel not becoming the new VEO (get it, CEO but it’s— I’ll see myself out) is that Valentino was the one who lept on the title being slightly older and she let him in a kind-of-mean-spirited-but-all-in-good-fun way of knowing he would not be able to handle the power for long. I think she knows keeping Val away from obsessively worrying/angsting/hating Vox 24/7 is a good thing, even if it means she’s still a bit in the background. Plus, it gives her a great narrative excuse to spend more time with her angel!!!

Heaven probably doesn’t believe in HRT because winners don’t need it and heavenborn are supposed to be ascended from their physical forms or some bullshit. This is why we need Velvette and Valentino’s Evil Transgender Potions NOW!
I’m on a they/she(/he?) butch Lute agenda and I’m spreading the news, get out of that sad grey warrior dress and fuckass karen bob baby the sapphics are gonna rock your world. Raised in a setting (the Heavenly Army, even before the Exterminations started) where I highly doubt any amount of identity exploration is encouraged whatsoever, I do firmly think that all the hedonism hell’s bound to hit Lute with will also significantly help them out with their internalized Everything. And I think Velvette is there to encourage it, in the “I know you better than yourself and I will turn you into my dream butch service top lover goddammit” way that is so special to me <3. DollDivine and Staticmoth parallels in the “undernegotiated kinky force-queer but it was needed” ^-^ I know a lot of my sapphic followers have even more thoughts on this if anyone wants to add on! Gently hands you my baton on the kinky forcequeer agenda.
But back to the T specifically, they’re definitely picky about the effects (I wonder if Vel and Val can, like, specify which effects happen more? Hyperspecific HRT potions? My concepts…) and I think Vel probably is too, if we’re leaning into her being basically a very controlling body image coach. Either way, I think they’d like the fat redistribution and muscle growth aid the best (and the bottom growth…), neutral on vocal chances and probably varying on body hair depending on where it is? Both her and Vel seem like they’d be picky on it (and I know Vel hates to see T sweat coming). Lute finally starting to get over their sexual guilt before their libido skyrockets even more… Vel loving her a little mindless… many such cases I am so normal about this woman and her butch puppyboy girlfriend…

Oh I soooo thought I was going to be able to hold off on answering asks. I Lied, this car trip is incredibly boring. I don’t have the mental bandwidth to lock in on a full post, but this is something I really want to clarify actually: bottom ≠ submissive, and this is a very important distinction for me! Velvette to me is a power bottom through and through and wants to be pampered. Lute is the ideal service top for this. Of course Vel can take control whenever she wants, but why would she? She can ruin Lute in her own ways, but her anger feels so good. This is actually something I debated a Lot initially, the dynamics of it all, but Vel is just so incredibly pillow princess to me that I think topping from the bottom would be her speciality. I love the both of them so very much and I will expand on this properly (and address your actual main question) later!!

I’m still working on The Business In Question (staticmoth 5+1 pwp!) in a very messy and non-chronological way; honestly the only thing I can promise is there’ll be Something out before New Years. Maybe one chapter, maybe three, I honestly have no clue! This will be my first ever published fanfiction so I am quite excited actually as a historic Lurker back from my evil hiatus.

They’re actually one of the huge reasons I decided to make this account in the first place! I had this incredible AU idea come to me while watching s2, and that was kind of the last Realization I had of “oh I need to share this with the world” to finally bring me back to having an active presence on this hellsite instead of just lurking on my old account that I hadn’t really done anything with for years.
