Velkan story is called Remains! And he is one of three stories tied together.

There can't be one without the other :']

Remains takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. Think of sweet tooth? But it's has been a looong time since that cataclysmic happened, now there's just remains of an ancient world that has been forgotten.

We have 3 principal characters and their demise, Blackbird.

🐦‍⬛ Mirlo/Blackbird- Terrible person Bad Bad Bad+ chaotic nature+ loves the feeling of having people at her mercy. She was a fighter, a beast in the arena, but her ambitions were way bigger than that.

Velkan- Blackbird offspring. Sweet guy, gentle but he's carrying the world on his back and if he doesn't acknowledge it, it will be his demise. He is unaware of events that led to everything that happen to him. His dad refused to say anything about his mother, not even her name.

Abram (velkan's captor)-An unstable pathetic bitch, Blackbird ex-lover (more like ex-chew toy tbh). Has a lot of grudge against Blackbird (and surprisingly justified) HE IS OBSESSED with her. Velkan is the only *thing* she left behind and he is going to hold onto him. Abram was the last one to see Blackbird after certain events.

Tamir (velkan's dad)- Was childhood friends with Blackbird, took after Velkan from the moment he was born, Velkan def got his sweetness from him, but also he is depressed as hell.

He is the only one who interacted with Blackbird in a more personal level, and knew Mirlo more than Blackbird.

He thought that the best way to keep Velkan and him safe was erasing Blackbird from their lives.

Our story begins with Velkan 🪽

Velkan was raised by Tamir. He is a good father, over protective but he has his reasons. From a young age, Tamir let Velkan know that he was not his biological father, strangely he never talked about his mother, the only thing that he knew was that she was his father childhood friend, they grew up together. No more than that , nor even her name.

As Velkan grew up he started to wonder the story that Tamir was hidding. Asking him was useless, he always avoided the subject. Velkan started to ask around without his father knowledge, until he found a lead, where to go.

A citadel. he had never been there but it seems that It wasn't that far away, he could go and give it a look, he would just have to think of a good alibi to cover that many hours out.

Velkan promised to be home by night, of course his father didn't know where he truly was going.

When he arrived, he felt many eyes on him, the bad kind. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to come here, after all. He stays for a bit but ultimately decides to go.

Someone is following him.

He doesn't return home.

He wakes up tied up, blindfolded and unable to scream for help. Being carried in somebody's arms, as he start to move around he feels something piercing his skin and he goes back to sleep.

He wakes up once again, this time he is on the floor, some put a blanket under him. He can hear people around but they don't seem interested in him.

Until he arrives.

He takes off his blindfold and holds his face like he just found something that he lost long ago. He present himself as Abram and wipes his tears away, assuring him that there's nothing to be afraid of.

That's how it started.

The next morning he finally let him speak, Velkan plied to be let go to no avail. Abram told him that he was his family, and that his mother just wanted to hurt him by hidding him away.

From this moment on Velkan lost his freedom and gained information that now he didn't want.

Abram treats him as he pleases. He is creepy and weird. (It never develops into sa)

Time passes and at one point Velkan tries to escape, he almost gets away. When Abram got his hands on him he didn't hurt him, no. He threatens to kill his father if he ever tries to do that again. Abram found Tamir, Velkan gives up an resigns to this life.

He is locked away in an old hacienda. Like a princess waiting till be rescued. He can go in and out but always accompanied by Abram's men. The only place he can be by himself is in his room. He is given everything he wants as long as he retuns the favor to Abram.

When Velkan complained he was drugged/ tied up/ beaten, drowned, burn,, Anything that Abrams felt like.

The key point is that only Abram can touch Velkan, he will have kill anyone that have any kind of interaction with him that he doesn't aprove of.

During his captivity he pieces together more things about were he comes from, Blackbird and who or what she was. Why everyone on the citadel looked at him with bad eyes.

One day Velkan life is attempted by one of Abram's men. This makes Abram brings someone new, someone that doesn't belong to the citadel. A young men called Zarco.

Zarco wasn't afraid of Abram, only smart to not interact with Velkan’s when he was around. He and Velkan developed a friendship that turned into something more later on.

When they were discovered Abram went crazy, in a rage episode he nearly beat Velkan to death. Zarco was able to interfere.

Abram realized what he had done, he didn't intended to go as far as he did. Scared of himself, he told Zarco to take Velkan and go.

Velkan was YEARS in captivity 🐎
