I'm a day late posting this for World Vegan Day and the start of Vegan Month, mainly because I was put off by a statistic from The Beauty Takeover report from @theoriginalvegansociety stating that 91% of responders* said it was important for brands selling vegan cosmetics and/or toiletries to have their products certified by a third-party organisation. Mine have not been certified vegan yet due to the costs involved. Thinking it is enough to have both common names and INCI names on the labels has also been challenged by a 2021 YouGov survey which found that 53% of UK adults were not confident in identifying a skincare product that contained ingredients derived from animals **. So, today I'm posting this to say my products are vegan AND that I have just contacted the Vegan Society to apply for the @vegantrademark to give the reassurance that my products are 100% vegan. * panel of 1,000 respondents ** Source @theoriginalvegansociety #veganskincareuk #veganbeauty #veganmonth #worldveganday2021 #worldveganday #vegancertification #sofialatifoils #consciousbeauty #selfcareisskincare #superfoodoil (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVxzrLLLC_u/?utm_medium=tumblr
