ever since i made the connection it will never not blow me away that we pay people to kill animals like that’s their job… like if you wanted your job to be animal slaughter then you’re a sick fuck no two ways about it. but paying the poorest and Black and brown people and immigrants who have no choice but to accept the work and working conditions on threat of starvation/deportation is.. totally fine!

yes going vegan is hard and scary but the alternative is not doing the #1 thing you can personally do to stop climate change and causing the torture and deaths of hundreds of animals and isn’t that worse?
