what does your OC lie about?
many little things, often about her own well-being so she can maintain the image that she’s the strong pillar for everyone else to lean on: she got enough sleep, oh that injury doesn’t ache that bad, she’s doing fine! (this is why she butts heads with thancred for YEARS because they both do this and call each other on it).

this is actually the set up for part of my sidalia wip/rewrite but it doesn’t get covered in it since it’s in sid’s POV, but after That One Event happens, she left without a word to alphinaud and tataru to hide at the inn above the forgotten knight rather than return to the manor and face anyone there for a couple days. she knows she worried them sick by vanishing like that and she winces whenever she thinks about it, even to this day.

pandora: not much tbh, she is. pretty shameless lmaoooo. being genuine and vulnerable are the things that she can’t bluff her way through though, so she gets very uncomfortable very quickly when either/both of those things are required.
peach: again not much embarrasses her, but unlike pandora—where it’s an egotistical I Own My Shit—type of deal, peach is…….. blasé about most things. attitude of a california surf bum but one who grew up in WASP country, connecticut. it’s become an ongoing in-joke in her band about who can successfully fluster her (nobody has won yet lmao)
taran: god what Doesn’t embarrass him other than like. his own feelings and love of substances lmao. he’s shameless about being messy and expressive on main at all times but small things like tripping in public, waving at someone who he Thinks is waving at him but isn’t, pushing a pull door or vice versa, etc. make him want to disappear
nayeli: nayeli gets embarrassed when she is forced to exist as herself and not her art. it’s easy for her to be a concept but when she is just Herself and has to reckon with loneliness, personal questions, the idea of failure, or her desire for validation, she cringes internally. she is currently having A Bad Time with botb because the focus is on interpersonal drama and not her music :/

pandora: she marks her territory in the most obnoxious way possible <3 rip to any partner that someone else is flirting with because they’re about to wear her like a feather boa. they’ll be covered in her lipstick in Very obvious places for the rest of the night. will ask for reassurance privately later though because she is fragile when it comes to people potentially leaving her
peach: tries to play it off like ‘whatever dude, i don’t care,’ but she cares more than she lets on. generally not a jealous person but she will be a bit standoffish and her smile won’t reach her eyes for a short time before she gets over it
taran: barking chihuahua, gets nasty to whoever is making eyes at his partner/who he’s interested in. inevitably broods for the rest of the social event but whether that’s by his partner’s side or alone depends on whether his partner is Into his possessiveness lmao
nayeli: she doesn’t see it, thank you very much; she is Not feeling jealous, and she is very happy to be in denial about that. the best poker face out of these four but she has nervous energy that’ll make her jittery—something she Never is except before a performance—so people who know her well will be able to pick up on it
