It's the story of a little girl, not grown, who finds solace in wanting freedom. So that she latches onto the powerful mind that it inputs in her. Wanting to fly not high up in the sky, but with her feet on the ground and her head in the clouds. With her voice carrying thousands light words and not letting out the heavy ones that temper her tongue, bruises her lips, sharp as the fangs that are scrapping inside of her ears.
It's the story of a woman who walks in her life at one point and makes her not think of it. Wise as the story would have to make her be, the little girl shows her a side of the world that thrives on childishness. So that they jump together, they laugh, they look at the sun and they don't worry about the lingering untold bits of their lives.
It's the stories of two women, with flowers and sunshine that guides their steps, it's gifts and discovery, the most beautiful world crafted by their own hands, with ties that they put around their throats, tighten as each days pass. A world where lies untold truths, whereas the truth does not matter until it shatters the perfect picture. Till it brings them down like the pills that she has to swallow to make herself sleep at night, down like the blood that she wants to drink until her thirst is quenched. But within the lies that come from bruised lips, unfold unexpected petals, blooming a flower in a red so deep that it puts to shame what both of their hearts desire.
The bitterness in her expression is clear, but softens considerably at the word "noona"; she mentally curses at her soft spot. His words aren't harsh, but rather a slap of reality and her own double-standards. Her eyes catch something in the distance, because she can't look at him when he called her out so easily. She ignores his question only because she has no acceptable answer. "Next time you leave," There's that hint of malice once again. "Either let me know, or make sure it's permanent."
there's a faint smile that he doesn't bother to conceal, letting it tug upwards at both corners of his lips as he's leaning forward, quirking a curious brow. bingo. because he knows he's caught her as well and he knows this by the way she dodges the question and thus (and not surprising at all) directing the conversation to him once more. he clicks his tongue, but it's faint, drowned out by the conversations surrounding them. then, the faint smile transitions, gradually, and there's a certain mirth in his dark hues. "hm, is this certain? next time i disappear, you don't wanna see me anymore, i'll stay gone if i don't give a heads up; you sure about that? heh, noona, are you really affected by me suddenly disappearing? droppin' off the face of earth?"
It's that fraction of a second's hesitation that causes her lips to press into a thin line. They remain the same even when the coin bounces off his body and drops, clearly on tails. "Wrong, heads. Because you clearly don't use that often when you up and leave, do you?" Irritation laces her tone, but there's hypocrisy in her words what with her own tendency to take flight. She's never good at staying upset, but even so she does her best to keep her steely gaze steady, not once leaving his.
a frown soon etches across his tiers, brows furrow as he's just about to point towards the coin which clearly had landed on tails before he's leaning back. she's right, in a sense but if he can recall other times and even now, she wasn't one to speak either. "it's tai—" he halts, shaking his head before he's leaning forward, clasping slender digits together as he rests his chin atop them, keeping his gaze firm on hers. "now, now ebony noona. you can't clearly say that i don't use my head often when you've done this before—we spot each other miles away, anyways. hm, odd, did you know i was wondering where you were the other day? you know," he shifts his gaze briefly as if taking in the vicinity before letting out a soft sigh, "i dropped by every so often, the difference is, i never once saw you around. so, had you disappeared when i did?" there's nothing lace of irritation or a possible venom spitting through his words, he's only ever curious—that's it.
