First I feel to like clarify some before I begin for fiction writers in general. their job is to create conflict of some type to make an intresting narrative. Second the ideas that we explore Is not our personality put to paper. We explore ideas and concepcts that appeal to us For me sadism can be defined as causing pain to others for the sake of causing pain but to quote a character From "the Family" (read quote in next message)

An excellent point amigo! Just because a writer/artist talks about a dark subject that doesn’t mean they approve of or practice that subject. Its a shame how often you see a writer/artist get criticized and accused of supporting bad behavior simply because they write/draw about it. Thanks for the insightful point amigo!
