Alright so obviously the first thing you do is open the texture and picture that you want to use.

I’m using this one of Scott because of his face after being rejected. It’s just priceless. Anyway, on with the tutorial.

Okay so now go ahead and color your second picture however you want with a psd or whatever. Also don’t forget to sharpen your picture too! They always look a million times better after you do that.

After you’ve done that you’re going to use the polygonal tool right here

I’ll be using that to trace around Scott like so

After that you’re going to press the refine edge button up top

These are my settings for the refine edge

Also make sure that you resize your picture so it will all be proportionate. I made the width of mine 400. After you’ve done all that, now you can drag it over to the texture you chose.

Set your second picture to lighten. After you’ve done that it looks like it’s basically disappeared right? Well that’s where the texture comes in. Go to duplicate the texture layer and set it to multiply.

Now you just keep on duplicating that layer until you fill it in enough to where you see the second picture enough again and get what you were looking for.

Now you can add any last coloring that you may want to it. But that’s it really. Here is my finished picture
