This is a great all-purpose cigar, a perfect compliment for anytime of the day. MADURO - our boldest blend, features a Brazilian Maduro wrapper around Nicaraguan fillers. The result is a spicy, rich and robust flavour profile. The Maduro tobacco provides a touch of welcome sweetness. This cigar is best suited to a seasoned cigar enthusiast, or after a full meal. DOMINICAN - for the very first time in this Limited Edition cigar have been hand crafted for us in the Dominican Republic by Abe Flores, owner & master blender of PDR Cigars. Back in October, we became the EXCLUSIVE Canadian Retail partner for La Barba Cigars. A true honour we continue to beam about. Here's a reminder of what's in our 3 custom built walk-in humidors... The La Barba RICOCHET. The newest addition to the family, Cloaked in a thick, chocolaty Mexican San Andres wrapper leaf which conceals an Indonesian binder and long-leaf fillers from the Dominican, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania, it’s the companies’ first Maduro blend, as well as their first full-bodied cigar. Produced in the famed Tabacalera William Ventura, maker of many Dominican boutique brands, you can count on great flavour and solid performance. It produces a complex array of pepper, spice, cedar, vanilla and a hint of grape fruitiness in the back half. Next, the La Barba RED. The ORIGINAL La Barba, first released in 2010. A medium bodied cigar was originally produced in Honduras but has since been reblended and relocated to the Dominican where it has become a DR puro with Dominican Corojo binder & wrapper, around Dominican Habano/Corojo (50% ligero) filler. From the flame you’ll notice a strong white pepper start which smooths out with baking chocolate and vanilla notes. Expect a long, spicy finish. You need to know where the story begins, and that’s right here with the RED! Finally, the La Barba PURPLE. The follow up to the Red, the medium-bodied Purple exemplifies flavours of sweet graham cracker & marshmallow with a spicy finish. Consisting of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with Dominican Corojo binder and Dominican Habano/Corojo fillers, the Purple is as complex as it is enjoyable. The cigar band itself respectfully resembles the original Black Market foot band, but this version is adorned with our logos and detail to compliment the “Bootlegger” theme. This cigar features a slightly altered blend from the original and for the first time ever, the Black Market has been box pressed!
