To go with my jacket, a new hat!
Single crochet, slip stitch ribbing, and a cute little pom!
I recently made some alterations to my winter jacket and thought I'd share them!
I added about 5 inches of material (2.5 to each side) so it fits better. Used cotton from my stash and a couple layers of batting to make it warmer.
Then I decided to add a patch over the logo on the sleeve, and figured since the jacket's blue, a Fallout inspired vibe would be nice. So, a nice Vault 111 patch came into being. From there, I decided to lean into it and made a Commonwealth Minutemen patch for the sleeve, and a Railroad Ally patch that I put near the hip. The last little touch was the cross-stitched 111 on the collar
Overall, it took about 3 or 4 days to get it done. Well worth the effort, since it fits now and honestly looks much better. I've had this little blue puffer for over 10 years, and at this point I just wanna see how long it lasts me, lol
