first year math major here hi i absolutely love math but i have a hard time understanding linear algebra. u got any tips on how to understand this faster?? bc at my rate i have to process each theorem for at least 30 minutes before actually getting it. thank u <3
hi! i don’t know if i have any specific tips on how to learn faster, but i definitely recommend working with your textbook closely if you can and trying to work out the theorems along with the book. like every now and then while you’re reading a proof, just spend a little time trying to figure out the next step on your own. i’d also suggest working out examples if you need to sort of convince yourself of something, and often after a few examples i end up getting a better intuition for the thing. let me know if i’m misunderstanding your question, i’m always happy to help! feel free to ask me about specific concepts too, i can’t guarantee that i’ll have to go into them in depth on tumblr but i’ll do my best to at least point you in the right direction!
