Closed Starter Noelle & Chloe @chloevara
To say that Noelle hated the fact that she was at a masquerade ball would be an understatement, but she’d forced herself to go because it was exactly the type of thing her girlfriend would have gotten her to go to. All Chloe had to do was ask with her sweet eyes, and Noelle always seemed to find herself saying yes. At first she couldn’t help but think that Chlo would have made everything look better because that was just what she did, but as the night unraveled she couldn’t help but be happy she’d gone.Â
If she’d stayed home she wouldn’t have found out immediately who was to blame for the disappearances of those she loved. Still, her desire to inflict pain and rage paused as she heard Nyx explain that their loved ones would be returning. Her anger at her father, the kidnappers, and everything else could wait. Right then, she wanted to make sure that Chloe was coming back to someone greeting her. She needed her girlfriend to know that even though she messed up and didn’t say three important words months ago, that she was still there and felt that way even though she was too emotionally stunted to say it.Â
Quickly, she moved her way through people and fought down the urge to zap them to get them to move more quickly. Last thing she wanted was for Chloe to scold her within minutes for not being polite. Her eyes kept scanning the crowd, and finally she caved and asked someone walking by her, “have you seen Chloe? Chloe Vara? She’s got to be here.”Â
