This was a commission for a friend about a year ago. One of my favorite YouTubers, Vannamelon, posted a video today of VannaLemon reacting to her fanart. And this one made an appearance! 😊

Its been sitting on my work file for 2020 for a long while since I started and I forgot to complete it, but I did finally completed it on my twitch stream yesterday and I am happy with the results here!!  Anyone curious even the big InuYasha fans, you may recognize the pose, I did use the Kikyo and Kagome official artwork of the two as a reference of the pose because, when I saw the one video Vanna posted that was about InuYasha or was InuYasha related I had a brilliant idea I can draw both Vannamelon and Vannalemon together in the InuYasha art style. I did ask who would Vannalemon mostly be if Vannamelon be Kagome, who would fit for the Lemon?  I honestly thought of Kikyo but wasn't sure so I had to ask in case, sure enough she mentioned it fit Kikyo for Vannalemon so that settled where I know exactly what I want to draw. So I went to find the one Kikyo and Kagome artwork I use to see often even back in my middle school years and found it and used it as a pose reference for the two. Plus its been forever I've tried mimicking the InuYasha art style so i was- kind of rusty, but I did my best anyways!! I did my best with the style AND try my best doing the pose. after i finished i went with the watercolor looking background but instead of it being one solid color gradient downwards, I went half and half of yellow and green because of Vannamelon and Vannalemon. The pose was NOT EASY TO DO. I HAD SUCH A HARD TIME BUT I MANAGED. Its just figuring out how to make the legs NOT LOOK WEIRD. even the arms too! Q_Q I did record a time lapse cause of clip studios time lapse recording tool, but I didn't record 100% of it because I FORGOT TO HIT RECORD Q-Q I was so in focus on getting the sketch perfect and I believe it started when it was just the line art. So when I start posting the finish time lapse, just remember that warning. I'll still give the warning in the post regardless but still. 📷 ANYWAYS IM SO HAPPY HOW THIS TURNED OUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! QAQ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!
