Also known in my head as: The moment when Nightmare fumbles Sans lmao

Nightmare hums as he turns to glance at Sans "I was curious about something."

Sans gives a shrug as he keeps his hands in the hoody pocket, "Ask away."

Nightmare nods as he looks ahead as they walk on the sidewalk "As I was walking up to your apartment I heard you speaking. You are going to ask someone out?"

Sans blinks as he look down. Then he chuckles and shrugs, mana lighting his face "I guess? I was thinking about it..." he shrugs again as he looks down.

Huh. His hands are still in his hood pocket. Maybe it is colder than Nightmare had originally thought.

Nightmare nods as he looks ahead. Trying to think back. Sans hadn't been going out a lot for a while now. The busy with the providing job keeping him busy, his words not Nightmare's. Maybe someone at work?

They walk in silence for a moment.

"So..." Sans still isn't looking up even as he speaks "What did you think? About the question? Think it stands a chance to get a positive response?"

Nightmare can't help but chuckle as he just shakes his head. Why would Sans, a mortal, ask him, an undead creature?

Hurt and anger from his side and Nightmare turns to look at Sans, who is glaring at him.

"What are you laughing for?"

Nightmare can't help but chuckle again "It seems rather foolish to ask me."

Sans's glare turns sharper "Yeah? And why is that? Can't I ask a friend for his opinion?"

Ngihtamre can't help but raise a brow at Sans. "We are friends?"

Sans actually pauses midstep as he just stares at him. More hurt and Nightmare blinks "I apologise. I..." and he stops. He isn't sure what to say.

Sans meanwhile glares "I think I heard enough." he huffs and crosses his arms as he continues to walk "Got it. foolish to ask you anything. Good to know."

Nightmare sighs as he walks after him "Sans. I did not mean it as such. The matter about asking me being foolish has nothing to do with our running contract. It is just..." he can't help but chuckle again. a mortal asking advice on relationships from a vampire? Foolish. "We are in no wya the same. It would be foolish to give my opinion when it would not apply to you."

Sans glares at him. More displeasure and annoyance "Oh. We are nothing alike huh? do say more."

Nightmare sighs as he rubs his temper "It does not matter."

Sans continues to glare at him "No I think it does. why is it so weird for us to talk about this?"

Nightmare raises a brow as he looks between the two of them before chuckling again "I think it is... rather obvious."

Hurt. A lot of it. Mroe than Nightmare expected.

Sans turns away and... starts to walk back? The way they came? Nightmar efrowns "Sans? We were going to the restaurant."

Sans conitnues to walk "Yeah. Well. I think it is best we are not seen in public. Seeing as you probably don't want people making wrong assumptions."

Nightmare tilts his skull "People won't. It is rather obvious that it is work related."

Sans just continues to walk.

Nightmare frowns as he glances back ove rhis shoulder before looking back at Sans "Sans. We have a reservation in ten minutes. The restaurant is right there." Why is he acting so strange?

"Not hungry." Sans continues to walk and doesn't even look back.

Nightmare sighs but walks after Sans "Sans. YOu need to eat before feeding."

Sans just continues on "I will eat some food at home."

Nightmar efrowns as he watches the other go. Why is he acting like this? Nightmare didn't say anything new or soemthing either of them didn't know.

Why is Sans acting as if it is important?

- Carmin already drank blood from Monty;

- Carmin likes to buy expensive exotic fruits for Monty;

- Vampires count rice if you throw it in the floor;

- Eating garlic to ward off vampires is actually false information spread by vampires. Garlic helps with blood circulation in the body;

- There are four types of vampire: the born vampires (pure-blood), the ones who were living human (turned-blood), the ones born from the mix of a pure and a turned (farraginous-blood) and the ones who are turned into vampires after death (dead-blood).

Ended up getting carried away and adding color, but god I can’t stop drawing him in his bat form.

Right now I am thinking of "Blood Sellers" but that is a bit on the nose. Bloodbag isn't going to work as that is pretty much an insult lmao.

Nightmare leans forwards “I… did have an alternative motive to this meeting.”

Sans feels his soul pulse quickly as he tries to appear casual “Really? What was it?” he grins.

Nightmare stares at him for a moment before he speaks again “I was unsure about asking this to begin with. Seeing as how our last interactions went. But you seem a rather understanding person. I just want to reassure you, if you disagree or decline the proposal I will not harm you or anything of yours in anyway. I will respect it and leave you be. Then this will be our last meeting.”

Sans nods as he feels his soul speed up again as he nods “Well go for it.”
