in regards to the tenna figure promo vid yesterday: Spamton was Never in charge of advertisements for TV time
I can see how people think of it that way since he is an Ad Guy undisputibly, but every time Tenna brings him up in game, he's only ever referred to as a mailman or his old partner. Ramb is the only one in TV world to really know he's actually a saleman, which makes sense, he's probably very familiar with Addisons, being a plug boy and all.
What he means when he says "I used to be a Big Shot" is really left open to interpretation, but honestly I think Spamton sort of resented being an Addison. He didn't like lying to sell garbage to folks that didn't know any better. TV world was his out, he could be whatever he wanted there.
Its why I prefer Spamton being a co-host, being on the same level as Tenna and not just pulling the strings in the background making sure their ad spots are filled. He was able to sell his pretty alright merchandise in Cyber World in order to fund his TV world escapades. He most likely handled fan mail and contributed ideas to the show, taking advantage of the freedom the money he made as a salesman gave him.
idk i just always found it strange that Tenna refers to him more as email than an ad. Spamton is not just shitty spammy advertisements, he's communication, he's collaboration, he's consideration. He only resorts to scamming you when he's at his lowest
