Canon EOS 250D | 135mm | 1/3200s | f/5.6 | ISO 100 Taken on 14/03/2021. A high-angle of Valmadonna, taken from the top of a steep road called 'Via della Manza' that joins on to an old military road called 'Strada della Serra'. In this photo I wanted to line the town's noticeable church with Monviso, the highest mountain of the Cottian Alps—over 150km from where I was standing. Here I got a real sense of just how big Piemonte is; in fact, it's the second largest region in Italy after Sicily. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Valmadonna can be reached by train from Alessandria, Pavia, Casale Monferrato and Milano Porta Genova. ______________________________________ #Valmadonna #Alessandria #InAlessandria #Ig_Alessandria #ScattoPiemonte #PaesaggiItaliani #VisitPiemonte #RoadToPiemonte #Alpi #Alps #Composition #Monviso #Italia #Italy #Ig_Monferrato #LangheRoeroMonferrato #Loves_Italy #Earth_Shotz #WanderLust #Jaw_Dropping_Shotz #NatGeoLandscape #MountainsAreCalling #Colline #Living_Destinations #TravelAndLeisure #Raw_Italy #Italy_Illife #NoFilter #VerticalShot #TheGlobeWanderer (at Valmadonna, Alessandria) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMaYxQYFIvS/?igshid=n0u6wvd3n4vl
