I wasn't joking about the abuse. John and Ringo both admitted to abusing women, Paul had allegations against him that were never proven, and George, well, I haven't heard anything about him, but you never know, do you? If anything, it was an acknowledgement that I have to live with not knowing. That's an important thing to acknowledge when you have OCD. No amount of compulsions is going to convince you otherwise.

This day has just been one of those difficult ones, when I'm unsure where, exactly, I should focus my attention. There are difficulties that come with being into celebrities instead of a fictional fandom, difficulties I wish I could have lived without. And I'm kind of wishing only belonged to one fandom: the simplest and most family friendly, Pokemon. I sometimes wish I'd never even started playing the Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden, or Trails games, or even The Sims. Just one video game series.

And sometimes I wish I'd never heard of the Beatles. I obsess enough over whether people I know, people who are close to me, are "good people" or not. I didn't need people, human beings, that I'm not close to, in addition to all that.
