There's something very beautiful about the fact that at the start of KOTFE, you are easily able to kill Valkorion with a simple blaster bolt or lightsaber stab from behind. By all logic, you should not be able to do that. He is too powerful. And sure, it might strain credulity that you could, but at the same time there's something so very fitting about it. I read it as Valkorion not paying attention to you, because you weren't powerful enough to be a threat to him - or so he thought. Despite all his power, he dies simply because he overestimated his own power, and underestimated someone he shouldn't have, and thus didn't see the threat until it was too late. And I think there's something very poetic about that.
