I mean I don't think I've ever talked about quailplover but I think I will here now. Both Fatima and Paolina are deeply repulsed/unable to express the exact things they want- Paolina is extremely avoidant and emotionally unstable, but craves something to lean her entire weight on and bear her mental burderns. Fatima on the other hand struggles to show or express empathy so she thrives on the happiness other people get from her help while completely neglecting her own since she can't decipher her own thoughts frequently. And Paolina is her boss so she feels this need to overcompensate and do more since she's in a higher financial position + is a workaholic baby. Paolina is aware of this imbalance but the fact that she finally has someone who sticks around her even when she makes herself unavailable appeals to her [and she has no morals anyway]
