Hope y’all had a great Valentine’s Day 💞

I still kinda hate this holiday, but I want to chime in with more Sharandy because I can’t help myself. This is what I was hinting at with my last fanart (albeit I’m a little late, like always) on the 7th. Been working on this for some time, and I’m so happy to finally get this out.

Still proud of last years’ art featuring them, but I wanted to try something a little different this time around. Surprisingly, I personally haven’t seen anything tropical-themed, so that’s the unique twist I wanted to go with.

Mr. and Mrs. Marsh are just taking a vacation to Hawaii for the week leading up to Valentine’s Day. The former wanted to treat the latter after noticing for a while how exhausted she started to become due to taking care of the household so much that she never really got any time to take a breather.

The whole trip went swimmingly (pun completely intended), with Randy reassuring Sharon not to do anything rash during it, but did do some goofy yet tame stuff such as joining in with the hula dancers to not make it completely dull. Though all in all, the whole week was nothing short of bliss for the pair. On the final day, Randy wanted to end it off with a simple serenade. And boy, did he wait his whole damn life for that moment. It was a simple but thoughtful ditty about the things she’s done for the family (especially Stan and Shelly), the good and bad times of their marriage and his overall appreciation for his lovely lady.

Sharon was very moved by this melody, and used it as an opportunity to have a heart-to-heart with him. She tells him that, while he may be reckless and empty-headed at times, she knows that he’s more than what meets the eye. For every screw-up he makes, he picks up after himself. It’s crystal clear that he cares a great deal for her, their kids, and pretty much the rest of the Marsh family. She truly loves her husband, flaws and all. Plus, she couldn’t help but giggle at him throughout his firewalking challenge early on in their holiday. The same could be said for him as well. To Randy, hearing his better half’s voice that was as sweet as honey was a sound that never tired him out.

The spouses then held hands, admiring the sunset, aware that their tour was coming to an end, although their relationship assuredly hasn’t 🏝️💕
