I think I'm going to specifically talk about (spins wheel) Eshda/Etynda here because that's one of my oldest fantasy worlds and I kinda want to test if I still remember a lot about it.

2. MONARCH - Who rules this world, and why are they the one on the throne?

Depends where you are !

In Eshda, there is currently a king. Hereditary rule, he was the oldest child = he's king now. There's a lot of vassals underneath him, however, and they're not always an easy bunch to rule. For example, Bouchemer just did a big fuck you to Eshda and decided to no longer be part of the kingdom. There was a whole war about it and Bouchemer won.

The Empire of Etynda is a little trickier. There is an Empress, and an imperial family, but those are remnants of the Heart's old system. They're mostly wealthy patrons of the arts even though people from outside the Empire are convinced they're ruling (it's partially on purpose). The true power is in the hand of the Imperial Council, which is elected. Each province is represented. Provinces also are fairly independent from one another and can sort of do their own thing alongside the general Empire law. This is- I was 16 when I started making this world and I thought it would be super funny if I made the EU in a fantasy world and they pretended to be an empire about it.

Varnya has a Prince instead of a king, but it's still a matter of ruling hereditary family. The nobility is mostly vampires over there, in this "patronizing but mostly benevolent" kind of way.

I don't remember what's up with the other countries; but I can tell you that there's a desert with city-states and furries in it, and I'd planned to research desertic animal species to design the furries. I never set a story down there so I have never ended up doing any of that.

9. CAPTAIN - Who is the most feared person in this entire world?

Hm. That's. Huh.

I don't know.

I don't have any overarching "we need to save the world" stories with mega powerful villains in there so that's like. I have no idea LMAO

4. KINGDOM - How much of the world have you created?

A chunk of a continent; I might have a map somewhere. It's in french dw about it this WIP is in french.

As you can tell I do not know geography and I have no idea why there's a random desert in there I don't know if that is actually physically possible but i have not researched much about deserts yet and 90% of my stories so far take place in Eshda. The rest of the world is mostly places that are mentioned, implied to exist. I have some bits of Etynda planned out, hence why they have a capital.

PHOENIX - What's your oldest WIP?

My oldest wip that’s still living is Carry Me, which is a wip I started in Junior High when I was 13 or 14, and it's went through a lot of different versions and a lot of changes over the years. But I love it dearly and I feel like it's one of those fics that's probably going to age with me forever.

SPARK - What made you want to become a writer?

It's just something I have to do. I'm like that girl in The Red Shoes who said she needed dancing to live. If I didn’t write I'd go crazy.

4. what is your favorite line you wrote this year?

i don't have a singular line, though i do have several scenes i really enjoyed. here's a few of my favorite lines from one of them:

He turned his head, faint streetlights catching on the line of a jawline. Naying was tempted, for a moment, if only to sate some cavernous feeling inside of her, but she crushed it with a ruthless fist. There was nothing there.  Don’t chase emptiness, the voice said, but when Naying listened, it warped into a running of chase it, chase it, chase it. At the end of emptiness is feeling.

9. create a meme or moodboard that captures your past-writing year!

13 years ago, yves and ren met for the first time. it was a chance meeting: in the hallway and going opposite directions, and they’d never even spoken before that fateful day. but after a brief conversation, yves looked the soon to be him in his eyes, and with a wide grin said words that would change both of their lives forever:

“it’s nice to meet you. i think we’re gonna be best friends!”

r: and i mean, i guess you were right we’ve been best friends for 13 years and dating for 7 SO lmao—

we started making stories together “officially” into our first year dating or so and the stories we had grew pretty much exponentially. even now we constantly come up with characters for each other or just because and drag the other along into whatever shenanigans. whether these stories just stay fun ideas, or eventually evolve into webcomics or novels or something in between, we love each other & love our ocs so we wanted to share our creations with the lovely people of writeblr too (since ren already is doing so and is dragging yves into it lol).

💖 What’s your favorite part about writing sex scenes?

okay i have two answers for this one.

answer one: i love love LOVE using sex scenes to show the audience something about the characters involved and their relationship. i think that sex scenes offer a unique look into the characters' dynamic that you can really have a lot of fun with. it's also a good way to examine characters themselves! salvatore is probably the best example of this--my internal essay about salvatore's relationship with sex grows every day.

(i think i've accidentally been writing him as asexual. still figuring that out tho)

as an example. an excerpt from one of many sex scenes i've written but not published with him, in which he sucks a dick for the first time:

"tell me-" sal clears his throat, hating how raspy his voice sounds. "tell me what you want, freckles. you want daddy to choke on your cock?" even like this, on his knees, sal refuses to let go of being the dominant one in this situation. bruno doesn't call him on it. "yes," he says, "p-please, oh god-" sal dives in once again, trying a second time to deep-throat bruno. it goes a bit better, sal relaxing his throat to take more in, but he still isn't used to the intrusion and ends up having to pull back very quickly. he takes another few seconds to catch his breath, wiping the drool from his mouth with the back of his hand. finally, bruno speaks again. "you don't have to-" bruno tries to say again, cutting himself off. "look, i-if you want, i don't mind, but you don't have t-" "i got it," sal says irritably. "just let me-" he sighs, thinking for a second.

something something salvatore forcing himself to deep-throat his bf way too fast and almost hurting himself in the process as a metaphor for sal rushing into intimacy to keep up his image as a big macho sexy tough guy.

and as for the second answer to this question: horny. i just like to write horny. because i'm horny.

ASJDFKL;... BREEDING KINK............... listen i'm a simple man. i like this so so much. i haven't shared most of the breeding kink smut i've written b/c i'm embarrassed, but ohhh oh trust me. trust me. it exists. it's out there.
