Help me home | Midoriya

Todoroki  was  drunk â obviously  so.  His  slurred  directions  were  so  vague:  a  tall  building  to  his  left,  a  red  car  to  his  right,  a  house  with  a  red  roof  and  a  fat  cat  on  the  porch⊠ It  had  taken  Midoriya  over  half  an  hour  to  find  out  where  his  friend  had  wandered  off  to,  and  it  was  only  thanks  to  the  GPS  in  Todorokiâs  cell  that  he  was  able  to  track  him  down  at  all.  Fortunately,  he  wasnât  too  far  from  Midoriyaâs  apartment. He  didnât  mind  braving  the  streets  at  this  hour  of  the  night.  He  wouldâve  much  rather  gone  through  the  trouble  than  leave  Todoroki  wandering  the  streets  at  this  hour,  especially  when  he  was  so  drunk.  He  was  surprised  Todoroki  was  even  drinking  at  all;  of  all  his  friends,  Shoto  was  the  most  level-headed  and  responsible.  Seeing  him  like  this  was  a  little  worrying. âYep,  you  sure  are!â  Midoriya  took  Todorokiâs  slack  arm  and  pulled  it  over  his  shoulder,  helping  the  man  to  his  feet.  âBut  donât  worry  about  it!  Letâs  walk  to  my  apartment,  okay?â
Todoroki couldnât possibly have said what had happened at this point. All he really knew was that heâd started drinking and hadnât stopped. It worked out well enough for him, all things considered. He was having fun. He wasnât even ready for the night to be over, but he had to leave the bar because he could just hear his sidekicks nagging him about his poor choices. It wasnât like he did this often... He deserved a break every once in a while, didnât he? He scowled as he wandered, the effects of the alcohol still strong.
Heâd had so much to drink that he couldnât even walk in a straight line. It wasnât like the bar was far from his apartment, so he set off, only to get himself hopelessly lost. He just knew he made a wrong turn somewhere, but he couldnât remember. Heâd been focusing too hard on not appearing so inebriated, and he failed at that. So, he called the one person he knew he could trust at a time like this: Midoriya.
âWhat took so long?â he slurred once the other had arrived. In the time it took for him to get there, heâd managed to find a liquor store and get even more to drink-- if only for the purpose of maintaining his buzz. It was such a fuzzy, freeing feeling. Perhaps, though, heâd gotten a little more than he bargained for. âMidoriya! Iâm really happy to see you...â
He smiled broadly, nearly tripping over his own feet as he got up. At least Midoriya could support his weight. He tightened the arm around his shoulders in a one-armed hug, empty bottle in his other hand. âWhoa. You have so many freckles. Did you know that?â He suddenly got the desire to count them all, now that he was close enough to see them. âItâs really cute. No wonder youâre such a-- *hic*-- popular hero.â Laughing, he leaned on Midoriya for support. There was definitely no way he was going to be able to walk on his own.
âOkay! Off to Midoriyaâs!â God, why was it so funny to him? âThank you sooooo much for coming to get me. Youâre the best.â
