Yesssss 👏 by @annlettering ・・・ Been debating whether or not to share this but #goodtypetuesday told me I should be proud! 🙈 My greatest accomplishment this year is choosing to believe in myself. And the result of that is I made more $$$ freelancing from March to December than my former 75k salary 9 to 5 job! 🎉 A big chunk went towards being a good tax-paying citizen and first-year expenses like buying a laptop, liability insurance, standing desk, and iPad, but this has been an amazing year! 🙌🏻 I’m not sure 2020 will be the same, but this gives me a lot of hope. It’s really hard to give myself some credit, I keep feeling like I got incredibly lucky this year, but also I know I worked really hard! Being self-employed is NOT easy. You have to be motivated and keep creating even when you don’t have any client work, in fact, you gotta make stuff that you want to be hired for and tell the universe you’re available! It’s not for everyone and that’s ok.
