Summary: Fate chooses who is ready. Dokrak had read that once in a book from the earthly libraries. Humans were, as always, wrong. Fate chooses someone to mess with. That was the truth. And this time fate had chosen Dokrak.

Her scroll was open in her fingers, the text written in graceful cursive, decorating her sentence:

Dokrak is a rookie cupid. Clumsy, curious, and definitely not ready for her next mission: making Pam fall for Kawi. But one misfired arrow and a disastrous fall change everything. Now Pam is in love... with her!

Summary: The paper was delivered into her hands like all the others before. It was a simple task. An isolated target. Although it required a little more time observing. At least one part of it she was already used to. Blending her face into the crowd, walking through the shadows, like a predator stalking its prey.

Pam looked over the file of her intended victim. The photo showed a young smiling woman.

Pam is a meticulous mercenary, used to watching and eliminating her targets without leaving a trace. But when Dokrak, an apparently ordinary young barista, comes into her sights, nothing goes as planned.

Summary: Sometimes it was so much easier to pretend only her second persona existed. Criminals didn’t ask difficult questions. A few punches and webs usually did the trick. The complete opposite of what happened whenever Pam crossed her path.

Dokrak couldn’t help thinking how ironic it was that she had taken on her role as a heroine even before getting her powers — helping save Kawi’s love life. Why did she do these things?
