USS Constitution below deck
Boston, 2023
Some of my favorite nautical postcards I found today!!
I maintain that Fallout 4 should have given you the choice to fuck completely off from the Commonwealth entirely and join Captain Ironsides in his flying 18th century frigate on the high seas. A post-apocalyptic high seas adventure with a gaggle of insane robots sounds like fun to me.
this is from an official post by the us navy and god i hope whoever did it knows it looks like a meme

Yacht AMERICA Crossing U.S.S. CONSTITUTION, Newport, RI, 1865, by Anthony D. Blake (b. 1951).
The schooner America is shown crossing the bow of the frigate Constitution, early in the morning of the summer of 1865. Further in the background, on the left-hand side, are the two sloops of war, Marion and Macedonian. ....Fort Adams and the town of Newport can be seen behind America's mainsail. The four vessels, part of the United States Naval Academy, were on a cruise from Newport to Annapolis.
