you took so many words right out of my mouth, especially about jona not being as big a softy as he's often remembered. aaaaahhh what a read!
AHHHH, YAY!Ā I'm not sure why i don't talk more about Jonathan.Ā I guess becuse I spend all my time talking about Dio.

perfect please talk about jonathan more often in public
Jonathan is your area, babe.
zombiesgohome replied to your post ādiego?ā
i mean yeah i think diego was basically limited by his staying at pb!dio level rather than advancing to sdc level. and the fact that while he was a bastard he wasn't THE big bad so he didn't even have that going for him.
Right that's the other thing, I do think he was limited by the need to not overshadow Funny and also....... I suspect Araki kind of wanted to be freed from the whole Dio legacy thing, but its kinda. Like Dio is too big a name not to get a shoutout, but at the same time he's also such a big name that he's in danger of being the assumed big bad - I have to admit, before I looked into what Steel Ball Run was, I assumed Diego would somehow be as big a deal as Dio, too.
Uhh, point being, he couldn't really be DIO, it'd be like putting Jotaro in SBR, like everyone would be staring at him.

wow i think i don't know anybody who dislikes Diego or has this kind of opinion about him, so it was great to read it! i like both dio and diego in almost the same level, because of their things in common and also the differences.
Eh, I mean I don't really dislike him.Ā I'm just kind of apathetic - I'm not sure whether his Dioness works for or against him for me, because on one hand I feel like I'm annoyed at him for not being more... epic, because he's Dio so he should be epic. I kept thinking, "wow Diego why can't you be more awesome like Dio?" Whichs is obviously an unfair comparison, but at the same time, I feel like if it werent for the Dio shoutouts I'm not sure I'd even remember Diego very well. >_> So, I guess the knife cuts both ways, sob.
But yeah, I know hes really popular, at least in the western fandom. Not sure about Japan - I don't see a lot of official or unofficial merchandise ith him and he's not in ASB....
zombiesgohome replied to your post āalso i'm gonna be mad if no one asks for dio so i'm asking for dio ok byeā
I WILL ASK YOU ABOUT HIM and yeah i kinda wish we had seen more of him just with his people like with enya. his relationships after the 100 years at the bottom of the sea ok
I generally wish he'd been IN SDC MORE yeah basically.
zombiesgohome replied to your post āThe Runaway Girl and your opinion on her being in the preview for episode 6? Everyone thought she'd be cut from the adaption so I'm curious what you think.ā
it would be kinda hilarious if she was jolyne's mom but jotaro didn't realize it was the same person
...like, now I wanna adopt this as headcanon, ROFL.
thechocolatedisco replied to your post āWeather Report.ā
I ship Jolyne with Weather Report ... and also Mista x Trish. (ć ̄ā½ļæ£)ć
TBH I'm not sure I even understand Jolyne/Weather.Ā I'm just not sure where it came from.Ā I mean, I don't have anything AGAINST it, it just.... never would have occurred to me.
As for Mista and Trish, I'm pretty sure that's implied in canon (as a future thing if nothing else). I just don't like... Mista or Trish, sob.Ā Well I don't mind Mista, I'm just not crazy mad for him. Trish kind of annoyed me.
