god i’ve read a lot of good books recently ... but most recently kafka on the shore by murakami haruki, after my mom nagging me to read it for half a decade lmao

3. how emotional are you right now?

not at all. i’m a generally speaking not very emotional? i only get angry.

4. what do you wish you were doing?

i really miss japan and i wish i were back there taking advantage of the best public transport systems in the world and eating cheap but great food haha

5. if you could eat any junk food right now what would it be?

chips with curry sauce! god do i miss british chip shops now

6. does pineapple go on pizza?

yes? i used to work at a pizza restaurant and one of my go-to pizzas was a white pizza with sriracha chicken, picked red onions, and pineapple, then sprinkled with green onions and drizzled in sriracha and mayo

it’s a picture of dave bayley from glass animals i drew that i was showing @slyttherin lmfao

8. can you lucid dream? what’s it like?

i don’t think so? i don’t really remember any of my dreams.

9. how would you define your current taste in music?

really a mix of everything?? as per usual?? i’m still listening to the japanese alternative/metal/shoegaze/noise pop stuff i was into when i was a teenager, but i also listen to anglophone indie and alternative music? and blues and disco? and at the same time i’m still hardcore vibing to german experimental/nu wave music? but i also listen to (embarrassingly) at least two hours of russian dance pop everyday?? i just listen to everything man

10. temperature-wise currently, are you hot or cold, or just right?

too hot. summer is literally the worst lmao

this is a lame answer lmao but i probably would want to travel into the harry potter universe? i’ve always wished that life was a little more extraordinary for me

3. have you ever been curious of how other people’s minds work?

yes! for a while in high school i wanted to pursue a career as a forensic psychiatrist

4. on the scale of one to ten, how crazy is your family?

probably a two? my immediate family isn’t crazy at all, but my uncle’s family is whack. the only two weird people in my family are me and my brother

5. if you were given a million dollars, what would you do with it and why?

probably find a better apartment in the city and live there. if i go to grad school in the city, that is. the rest of the money i would donate to my alma mater and my grad school because universities always need more money

6. what’s the oldest film that you have ever seen?

probably lev kuleshov’s the extraordinary adventures of mr. west in the land of the bolsheviks (необычайные приключения мистера веста в стране большевиков)? it was released in the soviet union in 1924

7. which country would you like to visit and why?

i haven’t visited most of eastern europe yet (i’ve only been to the czech republic) and i’d love to go
