Clarke Griffin Appreciation Week 2021!

You heard right, it’s that time of year again! Did you know that October is Clarke’s birth month? What’s a better way to celebrate than to have an appreciation week? The show may have come to an end but that doesn’t mean we can’t dedicate a week to what we loved about Clarke. So the official dates of Clarke Griffin Appreciation Week will be October 24th to October 30th.

We will dedicate a prompt (see list below!) to each day and we hope it’ll inspire you to make some fan content in honor of Clarke. While these appreciation weeks tend to be gifmaker heavy, I’d like to invite everyone to join. Not a giffer? That’s okay! You can write fic or meta, draw a cute little Clarke fanart, make a fun moodboard, edit a video, anything that inspires you is welcome! The only requirement is giving Clarke some love! ♡

Prompts:

Day 1: Moment You Fell In Love With Clarke — Pretty self explanatory! What moment did you realize you were going to love this character? Was it when she stood up for herself in season one? Was it when she broke out of Mount Weather and teamed up with Anya in season two? Was it her arc in the Wanheda episodes? What about Praimfaya or Eden? Whatever it is, today’s the day to show us!

Day 2: Favorite Season — A little like day one but this is dedicated to your favorite Clarke season. Her growth and discovery in season one. Her strength and bravery in season two. Her resourcefulness and emotional journey in season three. We could keep going but you get the idea!

Day 3: Favorite Trait — What is it that you love about Clarke the most? Her strength? Her compassion? Her leadership? Her smarts? Her wittiness? Her perseverance?

Day 4: Favorite Relationship — This day is to show off your favorite Clarke dynamic! This can by any kind of relationship. Familial, romantic, platonic, even a rivalry if you’re so inclined! This can also include a whole group, like Clarke and the delinquents for example!

Day 5: Lyrics/Quote — One of my personal faves, this day is all about connecting Clarke with a quote or lyric you think embodies her! What song comes to mind? What quote pops into your head? What poem inspires you?

Day 6: Bi Pride — C’mon, you didn’t think we’d skip this one, did you? This day is all about bi pride! You can make an edit with the bi flag colors! (Pink, purple, and blue! How cute!) You can highlight your favorite moments with the boys and girls she’s loved. Maybe you even want to doodle her with a bi flag? Or write about her experience? Anything goes, as long as there is some bi love and positivity in there!

Day 7: Free Day — For the last day you can do anything! Yay! Want some suggestions? I’ve got some! You can do another lyric edit. You can do Clarke throughout the seasons. You can do something outside of canon, like your favorite alternate universe setting. You can make an incorrect quote or text post edit. You can do something Halloween themed. You can even make her a little Happy Birthday post!
