i made this in 2024 after rewatching jordan peele’s ‘us’ for a film class. this particular shot of adelaide from the beginning of the movie reeeally caught my eye, mainly because thats exactly how she was lit, with that stunning blue (my fav color). id look at the rating before you watch to see if it’d be something you’re into (if u havent seen already), as its definitly horror and thriller, but its a really, really good movie.

The fact that Skullector Adelaide and Red are still in stock after a long time discounted genuinely makes me a little mad. Is Us too niche or unpopular? Are the dolls too Black for people? (Bianca Barclay didn't do too well, either, and this could easily send Mattel the worst message.) I think the Us set is genuinely on the peak end of the Skullector spectrum (review here) and even competing against the Xenomorph, I think they hold very strong. It really bothers me that the dolls didn't perform well.
