This begins sitcom level of shenanigans in order to keep the adults from realizing there's a whole ass child in the dorms. Shinsou gets dragged into this when Eri's quirk goes off unexpectedly but Brainwash works really well in order to calm her down/stop her quirk (It's the first time Shinsou has been able to use his quirk to do something good. It makes him feel like a hero)
Time moves forward, Class 1-A does their best to pretend like they don't have a child and Izuku gets an internship at Sir Nighteye's agency. Things go like they did in canon. (Overhaul had enough stuff saved up he was still making bullets and trying to perfect them) Right up until it comes time to talk about the raid and Izuku sees a picture of Overhaul for the first time... And he recognizes him
Because that's the person he punched in the nose to save Eri. Eri... An abused kid with a rewind quirk.... Who hated hospitals.
