URFS is under reconstruction...

...and things will perhaps be a tad chaotic for a while. Our founder and Kapitän has chosen to step down. Read this for the news. What does this mean? For the Schneider and Flake Tumblr blogs (and the equivalent FB pages), not a lot at the moment, I'll keep us up and running for the time being, my co-admins are doing the same with their entities as well. 

We're always looking for new blood, especially for the 5000+ followers Main URFS Blog with accompanying Twitter account. We've got a good thing going here, and we want to keep it that way. :) Because we're having fun, aren't we? Comments, asks and contributions are always welcome, wie immer. 

A great big thank you to all our followers and fans for making this a continuously rewarding experience, and to Len for kicking all our arses into gear. <3 We'll take it from here, sweetie.

Okie Dokie folks! Its now time for Doom photos! So if you are a R+ and a Doom fan this is your chance to send us your Christoph Schneider photos for his birthday video! Come help us wish Christoph a happy birthday!

Send photos of you with your birthday wish, or of Doom with a birthday wish Photoshopped on it or on it some how.

Or send a drawing that you have created for the occasion!

Send them to [email protected], or you can post them n the Facebook page event HERE.

You can also join our birthday group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/URFSRammsteinbirthdays/), post your photos there and suggest/vote for the song that will be the background music for the video. This birthday group is the only place that you can suggest/vote for a song for the video! Only members can vote and suggest songs.

The URFS is looking for contributors for our sites/pages/blogs! If you enjoy posting about R+ or sharing R+ pages then this is the staff position for you!

What we are looking for:

Motivated posters willing to post frequently on either our Tumblr blogs, Facebook pages, Google+ page & Pinterest account.

Motivated posters who have no problem with posting our link in other places sharing our pages & blogs.

People who can bring us new information, news, photos, interviews that we do not have on our sites already.

What you need to do to become a Contributor:

An account on either Tumblr, Facebook, Pinterest or Google+ or all of them.

Send me in a private message briefly why you should be a contributor, & your age (be honest being young will not keep you from being a contributor on our site).

Let me know in the message if you want to contribute on Tumblr, Facebook, Pinterest, or Google+. Contributors will eventually also contribute on the main web site once I finish the new social networking page.

Let me know in the message your email address that you are using for the format you want to contribute on. EXAMPLE: your Tumblr email, FB email etc. The email you use to login to those sites already.

We ran a logo design contest for the site and sadly no one entered. I'm not sure as to why maybe you guys can reblog and give me some feedback about the contest and why you did not enter. I'm guessing that it was probably too involved and may have seemed like a lot of information and something that may have been complicated to do.

I would still like to run a contest for our followers on all of our pages but I need your input as to what kind of contest you would be interested in entering. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Some of my thoughts for contests are:

A Tagline contest - let the followers pick our new tagline for the site.

An art contest where you enter your R+ related drawings and we have followers vote for the best one.

A "Caption This" contest where followers add a caption to a R+ related photo and the followers vote on the best one.

If you guys/gals have any other ideas for contest, then please utilize the ask and tell us!

We are currently looking for Tumblr Admins for the following Tumblrs we have: Richard Z. Kruspe, Flake Lorenz, Oliver Riedel, & Paul Landers. If you love Tumblr & Rammstein and want to be a part of a fast growing Rammstein community then being an Admin on one of our blogs is right up your alley. Its fun and nice to be a part of something. 

To be an Admin you only need the following: 1. To be at least 18 years old. 2. A Facebook account. (Temporarily - we have a staff group they you would need to belong to and its based on FB, but we will be moving it to a forum on the main web site in about a month or two) 3. A little time to create interesting engaging posts about Rammstein and the member blog you are running.  4. Willing to be a part of a larger team and be involved in the workings of the URFS.  5. Post as much as possible or at least a couple of times a week. On Tumblr you also have the option to schedule posts or queue them if you like and then you could just monitor the comments and comment yourself. Its easy to do and the Admins have a good time interacting with other R+ fans around the world. We are looking for people who are interested in commenting and being involved, if that is you then send a message via the Main Tumblr URFS Blog.
