When bigots say "nobody cares who you bang", I can't help but think "so being straight is also just about who you bang?"
Why be so upset specifically about us who are simply anders als die andern? That's your foible, not mine; It bothers you enough to exclaim your 'disinterest' with such conviction
I feel like the gay mlm flag by @gayflagblog gets too much hate. Even now I still see people calling it problematic, claiming it "copies" the lesbian flag, reinforcing "blue is for boys" stereotypes, mockingly calling it the "toothpaste flag" and insulting anyone who uses it.
I love this flag and I really hope more people would use it because there are still so many who see the rainbow flag as the flag for gay guys.
This is homoandrophobia.
It really wouldn't matter if it had been inspired by the lesbian flag, because that would have just been an act of solidarity. Nobody sees anything wrong with the bi, pan, and ply flag having similarities because they all fall under the m-spec umbrella. Or the trans- flags for having similarities, because they all fall under the trans umbrella. Or aspec flags for having similarities because they all fall under the anattractional spectrum umbrella.
So why would it be an issue to have two flags that fall under the gay umbrella be similar to each other?
I've always hated when people refer to misogynistic straight men as secretly gay. Misogyny is a patriarchy issue not a sexuality issue. Anyone regardless of gender and sexuality can be a misogynist. Gay men aren't more likely than straight men to be misogynistic. And when I see the take that misogynist straight men are secretly gay it's a lot of the times said by a straight women so it just seems really homophobic to me.
This is homoandrophobia.
The joke of "Just go kiss/have sex with/date other men if you hate women so much" has always irritated me because...what is the punchline, exactly?
The punchline is either "Gay men are misogynysts" or "I want gay men to have their community flooded with misogynysts." Both of which are...not great.
No matter how you spin it, the joke is that youre grouping misogyny in with gay men.

Can I get an Uranian stimboard with a theme of old TVs and recording tech?
Such a unique palette!
