Asuks magazine (which is where Uraboku was published) shared various covers for their 41st anniversary which included multiple Uraboku covers. Glad to see they haven’t forgotten about the series! (I promise neither have I ;w;) The last one says:

Made a magazine version cause one of my friends said it looked like it could be on a cover, but I got silly with it so it looks like this now

#I had a lot of fun with this since it's a little bit outside of my usual style their faces came out so prettyyy #Tried out gradient maps for the first time! they're pretty dang useful but there's a lot of technical pain to em for me anyways #I usually use medibang which doesn't have gradient maps so I imported this into krita #But then I couldn't import it back into medibang so I had to copipe my gradients into it instead #Also I use a pretty textured brush to shade which I don't think works Quite as well with the gradient maps it'd probably work better smooth #but hey! lots of learning and experimenting here! all well and good #twisted wonderland #twst #jamil viper #typhon andros #snakejam #uraboku #twst oc #asta's dumb little creatures #scribblening
