After Sonnenberg, we drove down to Keuka Lake where we stayed at Pleasant Valley Inn, a tiny bed and breakfast close to the water. On the way home, we stopped at the Corning Museum of Glass which we loved. Corning Museum is world-class. The installations are thought-provoking, blending international art with Corning’s innovations. Visitors can make 12 or more different blown glass items for just the cost of glass. Fabulous.

We spent a day chasing waterfalls in Watkins Glen State Park. We arrived at lunchtime on a Tuesday to avoid crowds. The gorge is lush and stays cool in summer. This was one awesome, magical hike.
