Kamala Khan is fighting the newer version of the Mutant Liberation Front who are mainly young mutants since most of the old members had retired or went missing. One of the New Mutant Liberation Front members is Unveil the random mutant who previously appeared in Age of X-Man storyline. Cable and his new X-Force intervene and they manage to stop the New MLF and the bomb. After the fight, Cable tells Kamala that his mission is to keep her safe to prevent the future assassination. Kamala knows who Cable is and wants nothing to do with X-Force. Even when Cable tells her that he’s trying to preserve her future presidency, and Kamala agrees to give him a “brief trial period”, she insists that she’s a local super hero and that she’s going to stay in her community. Kamala gives them her contact details and the address of her “fan fiction club”. As soon as Kamala leaves, the X-Force destroy the Safe-X headquarters.
