Burn the Book Down Free yourself from all those pent-up feelings. Start with reliving all the treasured moments both of you have shared, in good times through the bad. Include everything from the very beginning, when you were first mesmerized of the way the bees on your stomach buzzed relentlessly, the first seconds you laid eyes on each other. End it by telling the very last drop of life you have held into. The ones that you have survived the despites. Next, you write them down in poetry in verses in words in queries in all the metaphors you can come up to. And then run down your fingers on the paper. Trace each and every word. Feel it. Has it turned warmer over the time? Or it has, unfortunately, cooled down as if it was the thing bound to be, meant to happen. Own it until you lose yourself in all of it once again. Bleed. Cry. Smile. Laugh. Ask. Get hurt. For one last time. And then burn the book down. Lit it the way the summer heat fire the wilds. Make use of the ashes as your refilling ink to write a new book.
